Your role as a Year 3 Class Teacher
- Create engaging lessons based on planned objectives. Consider differentiation to ensure progression in students’ learning.
- Create clear targets, considering prior attainment.
- Fulfil the school’s and national assessment requirements. Maintain accurate records and report student progress appropriately.
- Manage Learning Support Assistants and other helpers in the classroom.
- Actively engage in primary school duties, including supervising playtimes and leading whole school and class assemblies.
What you will need to succeed in this key stage 2 maternity cover in Camden
- Hold QTS status.
- Have experience of working in primary schools in the UK, especially in KS 2.
- Have good interpersonal skills.
- Show good standards of professionalism, being well-organised and capable of working to policy and procedure to agreed timescales.
