Are you an enthusiastic and committed teacher ready to make a real difference in the final stage of primary education? A large and welcoming school in the heart of BD3, Bradford, is seeking a strong Year 6 teacher to join their team for the remainder of the academic year.

About the Role:
We are looking for a confident and motivated teacher to take full responsibility for a Year 6 class. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum, particularly SATs preparation, and be committed to ensuring pupils are ready for the transition to secondary school. You will be supported by a collaborative staff team and a leadership team that prioritises professional development and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Have a strong KS2 background, and experience teaching Year 6.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs requirements.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Have excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies.
  • Be committed to raising attainment and helping every child reach their potential.
  • Be adaptable, resilient, and ready to contribute to a dynamic school environment.
  • Possess strong communication and organisational skills.
