Are you an experienced Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher looking for opportunities across the Wirral that could lead to a long-term position?
Hays Education are working in partnership with a range of primary schools across the Wirral who regularly appoint teachers from our supply pool into longer-term and permanent roles. For the right teacher, supply work can provide a direct pathway into a stable and rewarding position.
We are currently seeking a confident and adaptable Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher who is open to working on a supply basis while aiming to secure the right long-term opportunity.
The Role
As an Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Year 5 and Year 6
- Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage expectations, including SATs
- Differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities
- Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour standards
- Contribute to a positive and supportive school environment
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has recent experience teaching in Upper KS2 (Year 5 or Year 6)
- Is confident with assessment, tracking progress, and raising attainment
- Is open to supply teaching as a route into long-term opportunities
- Is reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering high standards
