English Teacher – Flexible Opportunities (ECTs & Experienced Teachers Welcome)
Are you a passionate English Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking valuable classroom experience before securing a permanent role, or an experienced teacher looking for flexibility, we would love to hear from you.
We are currently working with a range of schools seeking dedicated English teachers to support their departments. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in different school settings, build confidence, and make a real impact on students’ progress.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
- Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Support student progress and attainment
- Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain a positive learning environment
This Role Would Suit:
- ECTs who have not yet secured a permanent position and are looking to gain valuable experience
- Experienced English Teachers seeking flexibility or a better work-life balance
- Teachers returning to the profession
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in English or a related subject
- Recent experience teaching English within the UK curriculum (placements accepted for ECTs)
- Strong classroom management skills
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two recent professional references
