The Opportunity
A thriving primary school near Grimsby is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team from January 2026 until the end of the summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire pupils at a crucial stage in their education, helping them build confidence and achieve their potential in preparation for upper Key Stage 2.
You will take on full teaching responsibilities, including:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to Year 5 pupils
- Preparing resources and adapting teaching to meet diverse learning needs
- Marking and assessing work to ensure progress is tracked effectively
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and support whole-school initiatives
The role includes dedicated PPA time, ensuring you have the space to plan and prepare high-quality lessons while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

- A qualified teacher with QTS
- Experienced in teaching within Key Stage 2
