Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physics Teacher to join our talented team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective physics lessons to students aged 11-18, instilling a deep understanding of scientific principles and a curiosity about the physical world. You will be instrumental in inspiring the next generation of engineers, researchers, and innovators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality physics lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all students.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
  • Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including GCSEs and A-levels.
  • Participate in curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching standards.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Physics or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching physics at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
