Primary School Supply Teacher Job. Birmingham Primary School. KS2 Teachers needed ASAP Start.
Your new school
Hays Education is working closely with a wide network of primary schools across Birmingham who are seeking reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic KS2 supply teachers to support their staffing needs. With increasing demand across Years 3–6, we can offer you regular work, competitive rates, and placements that suit your availability and preferences.
Your new role
As a KS2 supply teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2, following school plans where provided
- Manage the classroom effectively to ensure a positive learning environment
- Adapt your teaching to meet the needs of mixed‑ability groups
- Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and behaviour management
- Be available for short‑term, long‑term, or day‑to‑day assignments depending on your schedule
Roles are available immediately, with opportunities for ongoing work throughout the academic year.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Recent experience teaching within KS2
- Strong behaviour‑management skills
- A flexible, proactive approach to teaching
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
