An established and growing logistics company with a strong commitment to technology is looking for a proactive IT Business Systems Analyst to join their team in Greater Exeter. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting the systems that drive their visionary logistics solutions. This is more than just a technical role; it's an opportunity to make a real impact across the business.
Your new role
As an IT Business Systems Analyst, you will be a key part of the Technology team, working on business-critical systems. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Configuring, maintaining, and supporting essential line-of-business systems.
- Leading the planning, implementation, and testing of system updates and changes.
- Rolling out standard system solutions and processes to new sites and customers.
- Migrating legacy systems and processes to group-standard platforms.
- Collaborating with external vendors and internal operational teams to tailor solutions.
- Ensuring clear documentation and providing hands-on support during system changes.
- Contributing to the roadmap for future system enhancements.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience configuring IT applications, ideally in logistics, ERP, TMS, WMS, finance, or HR systems. You should have strong communication skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to manage your workload and meet project deadlines. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use is essential.
