Systems Engineer; Systems Manager; Nuclear;

Your new role
- Define and communicate priorities aligned with project timelines and milestones.
- Provide technical guidance to system engineers and team leads to resolve multidisciplinary issues.
- Coordinate with interfacing disciplines (layout, civil, safety, electrical, instrumentation & control, commissioning).
- Monitor progress and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate participation in technical committees and reviews.
- Promote design stability and challenge unnecessary modifications.
- Ensure completeness and consistency of design changes before integration.
- Oversee updates to configuration attributes and specification databases.
- Lead cross-system technical tasks within Waste Systems or the wider systems department.
- Report KPIs and cascade strategic directives from project leadership.
- Monitor system design maturity and support quality assurance processes.
- Conduct peer reviews of technical documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in process engineering or relevant project work.
- Background in regulated industries (nuclear, energy, infrastructure).
- Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
- Proactive and collaborative approach to working with remote teams.
- Knowledge of system design principles, instrumentation & control architecture, and safety classification frameworks.
- Experience in nuclear or large-scale engineering projects.
- Familiarity with effluent treatment systems or similar process systems.
- Commitment to continuous improvement in engineering quality and documentation standards.
