We're looking to recruit a Scheme Manager (Independent Living - Over 55s) in the Liverpool/Wirral area to support our social housing client on an ongoing, temporary basis. This is a part-time role, working 25 hours per week, paying between £15 - £17.30 per hour.

You'll be responsible for overseeing the day to day management of the independent living scheme, providing high-quality customer service and tenancy support to all residents.

Key responsibilities:

• Completing routine health & safety and compliance checks, identifying any issues, logging repairs where required and facilitating access for contractors

• Carrying out morning calls and visits

• Monitoring care packages within the scheme to meet relevant support needs and person-centred care

• Rent collection and supporting tenants in arrears or at risk of tenancy failure by completing assessment of need/risk and devising affordable payment plans where appropriate

• Dealing with low level anti-social behaviour, breaches of tenancy and any other non-compliance

• Assisting with viewings, lettings and sign-ups

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in a similar housing/tenancy management related role, ideally having worked with over 55s or vulnerable individuals

• Experience of lone working and customer service in a customer-facing role

• Knowledge of welfare benefits, care services available through various agencies and safeguarding procedures

• Ability to determine different support needs of tenants
