We're looking to recuit a part-time temporary Scheme Manager to support our client in providing housing management at one of their Independent Living Schemes in Ormskirk where you'll be working 18.5 hours per week across 3 days.

Your new role

• Daily wellbeing/welfare checks to vulnerable residents

• Carry out viewings, sign-ups and inductions with new residents

• Review and update risk assessments

• Advice on low level rent arrears, liaising with Income team and assisting with completion of welfare benefit applications

• Carry out routine health & safety inspections including testing fire safety equipment & weekly fire alarm tests

• Assist residents with reporting repairs and chasing repair requests, liaising with contractors & maintenance teams.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a similar role/setting, ideally supporting elderly customers with tenancy sustainment & independent living

• Knowledge of welfare benefits and experience of completing assessments & developing support plans

• Experience of managing a caseload, multi-agency working and crisis management

• Knowledge and experience of safeguarding practices and procedures

• Ablity to use range of IT packages/systems proficiently

• Adults Enhanced DBS
