We are currently working with a dedicated and passionate fostering agency who are looking for an experienced and dynamic Fostering Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

Your new role

As the Fostering Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the fostering service.

• Leading and managing a team of social workers and support staff.
• Overseeing the recruitment, assessment, and approval of foster carers.
• Ensuring high standards of care and support for children and young people.
• Managing budgets and resources effectively.
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures.
• Liaising with external agencies and stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• A recognised social work qualification.
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Significant experience in fostering services, including management experience.
• Strong knowledge of fostering regulations and standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people
