Your new role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will take on a pivotal role in delivering tailored support to children and young people. You will lead a team of support workers, ensuring the highest standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff, fostering a positive work environment.

  • Engaging with children through activities that promote learning and personal development.

  • Maintaining clear and accurate records of care and progress.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A relevant children's NVQ L3 (required).

  • A current DBS check already registered on the update service (required).

  • Previous senior/leadership experience in a children's residential setting.

  • A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to working with children and young people.

  • An understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
