Key Responsibilities as a Learning Manager

  • Leading on learning strategies and supporting teaching standards across your assigned year groups or departments
  • Working with teachers and support staff to implement targeted interventions
  • Supporting behaviour for learning, inclusion, and pastoral systems
  • Using data to monitor progress, identify gaps, and help plan solutions
  • Delivering small‑group learning sessions or academic mentoring where required
  • Building positive relationships with staff, students, and parents
  • Contributing to whole‑school improvement and maintaining an aspirational culture

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working in education—ideally in a leadership or learning‑development role
  • Strong understanding of teaching, learning, behaviour, or SEND support
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and mentoring skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels
  • A proactive, resilient approach and a commitment to raising achievement
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
