Are you a passionate and qualified Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in Key Stage 2? Hays Education is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Newcastle. This part-time role offers a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in KS2 during the morning hours, helping them thrive academically and socially.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the class teacher with daily activities and learning objectives
- Working with small groups and individual pupils to boost engagement and understanding
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
What we’re looking for:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
- Experience working in a primary school setting, ideally within KS2
- A proactive, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
