About the Role
We are seeking reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Sefton. This role is perfect for TAs who enjoy variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to gain experience in different year groups and school environments.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will support children’s learning in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 depending on each school’s needs. You’ll step into classrooms where required, offering confident support to pupils and helping maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing general classroom support across different year groups
- Working 1:1 or with small groups when required
- Assisting with classroom routines, behaviour management, and learning activities
- Helping prepare and organise resources as needed
- Building positive relationships with pupils and staff in each school
- Adapting quickly to new settings and expectations
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working in a primary school is essential
- Teaching Assistant qualifications (Level 2/3) are desirable
- Confident, flexible, and able to adapt to new environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to supporting learning
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
