Supply SEND Teaching Assistants – Rugby

Location: Rugby
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Contract: Day‑to‑day and long-term supply
Start: ASAP

About the role

We are recruiting flexible and reliable Supply SEND Teaching Assistants to support a well-established, Ofsted rated ‘Good’ specialist school in the Rugby area. This setting supports pupils with a wide range of additional needs, including ASD, MLD, PMLD, SEMH, and complex learning needs.

As a Supply SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups
  • Assist with communication, sensory needs, and emotional regulation
  • Help pupils engage in learning and daily routines
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
  • Create a calm, safe, and inclusive environment


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience supporting learners with additional needs (SEN, SEMH, ASD, MLD, PMLD)
  • Background as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker or LSA,
  • Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach
  • Ability to follow behaviour and support plans
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
