Due to continued demand, we are seeking enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to join our pool and support local schools on a full-time or part-time basis.

Your new role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will work across different schools in the Bridgwater area, providing classroom support to pupils and teachers. Your responsibilities may include assisting with learning activities, supporting individuals or small groups, helping to manage behaviour, and contributing to a positive learning environment. You will have the flexibility to choose the days you work, with opportunities available throughout the week.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based or transferable experience welcome)
• A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one via Hays
