You will be joining the UK's Leading Facilities Management and Professional Services Company.

Your new role

Are you a procurement leader with a passion for problem-solving and building strong relationships? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your expertise can directly impact a major government account?

This key management position offers a dynamic opportunity to lead the procurement function for the Department for Transport (DFT) account. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring a robust and cost-effective supply chain.

What you will do:

  • Become an expert in the DFT account supply chain, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Deliver exceptional procurement performance, negotiating the best deals, ensuring on-time deliveries, and controlling costs (KPIs and SLAs provided).
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with category management, clients, and suppliers.
  • Lead a high-performing team (details in EVP sell sheet).
The first 6 months will be dedicated to your success:
  • We'll provide comprehensive training and support to help you embed yourself within the team and understand the intricacies of the DFT account.
You'll gain a deep understanding of team member strengths and personalities, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment

What you'll need to succeed


  • A proven track record in procurement, with experience in negotiation, conflict resolution, and solution finding.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions (proficiency in MS Office essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • The ability to adapt your approach and influence others at all levels.
