I am delighted to be representing a large bank based in Edinburgh as they search for a Supplier Manager to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Your new role

In this role you will be:

• Handling a portfolio of around 12 tech/IT suppliers to ensure needs are met
• Managing internal and external stakeholders
• Liaising with the procurement and legal teams on a regular basis
• Identify and mitigate risks
• Engage in contract management
• Ensure work done is up to company standards

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong experience in supplier management and risk mitigation is essential
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Procurement skills are not essential, but knowledge of procurement processes would be beneficial
• Experience managing a large workload in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in the financial sector is desirable
• Knowledge of supplier management policy and frameworks
• Experience with stakeholder management
