We are seeking an experienced Procurement Lead with a strong background in Facilities Management (FM) to support a local authority’s Corporate Landlord function. This is a short-term, high-impact assignment focused on developing a robust Total Facilities Management (TFM) procurement specification, ready for market engagement by October.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
- Lead the development of a comprehensive TFM procurement specification.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the Procurement team to ensure readiness for market engagement.
- Work within the context of a Teckal company structure, ensuring compliance and alignment with local authority procurement frameworks.
- Deliver a focused, high-quality output within a tight timeframe.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Proven experience in FM procurement within a local authority or public sector setting.
- Strong understanding of Teckal company operations and public procurement regulations.
- Able to hit the ground running – this is not a role for someone who needs a long onboarding period.
- Familiarity with the local authority FM market and supplier landscape.
- Comfortable working independently on a standalone assignment.
