Disrepair Supervisor
Location: Salford (covering Manchester / Lancashire)
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: Competitive (DOE) + Company Van

A well-established and growing property services contractor within the social housing sector is seeking a Disrepair Supervisor to support works across the North West. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable organisation on a temp-to-perm basis, with a strong pipeline of work and long-term prospects.

Your new role
As a Disrepair Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing disrepair works from start to completion, ensuring delivery is compliant, cost-effective, and meets client expectations.
Duties will include:

  • Attending pre-start meetings with clients to assess works in line with Scott Schedules
  • Developing workflows for operatives based on schedules of work
  • Supervising site activity with a focus on quality, performance, and health & safety
  • Costing and coding jobs in line with NATFED schedule of rates and quotations
  • Preparing and submitting variations with supporting narratives and photographic evidence
  • Carrying out daily/weekly checks on operatives (PDA usage, van checks, etc.)
  • Managing both directly employed and subcontracted operatives
  • Using company systems (e.g. Epix or similar) to audit and record job data
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients regarding progress and any on-site issues
What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in a Disrepair Supervisor or similar role
  • Trade background with a strong understanding of disrepair processes
  • Knowledge of NATFED Schedule of Rates
  • Comfortable using Outlook, Excel (basic), and asset management systems (Epix or similar)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • SSSTS
  • Full UK Driving Licence (clean)
