Part-time French Teacher in Bristol

Salary: Competitive day rate

Hours: Part-time MAT cover

Location: Bristol

Start Date: 2nd January

The French Teacher will be instrumental in nurturing students' French language proficiency and appreciation for French culture. This role involves teaching students using a blend of traditional and innovative methods to engage and motivate them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver captivating French language lessons in alignment with school standards.

• Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment that encourages active participation.

• Employ a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs.

• Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, assessments, and exams.

• Offer constructive feedback and support to help students enhance their language skills.

• Participate actively in school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development.

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or a related field

• QTS Teaching certification in French

• Proven experience teaching French

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with technology-driven learning tools.

• Experience in curriculum development and implementation.

• Ability to integrate cultural elements into language teaching.

• Interest in organizing extracurricular activities related to French language and culture
