Hays is partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced ERP Solutions Architect. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned ERP professional to play a key role in designing and delivering enterprise‑level solutions that will shape the organisation’s future technology landscape.

As the ERP Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing end‑to‑end ERP architectures, primarily focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. You will guide the business through solution design, integration planning, data migration, and technical implementation, ensuring the ERP ecosystem supports complex business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing enterprise ERP solution architectures across multi‑system environments.
• Leading Dynamics 365 F&O or Dynamics AX solution design and delivery.
• Developing integration designs between ERP and other enterprise applications.
• Supporting ERP data migration strategies, including mapping, transformation and validation.
• Producing high‑quality architecture documentation, system designs, and technical specifications.
• Working closely with senior leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into functional and technical deliverables.
• Supporting compliance, governance and documentation standards.
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams and supporting steering committees or governance boards where required.

Essential:

• A third‑level qualification in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field — or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience as an ERP Solutions Architect, Senior ERP Consultant, or similar role.
• Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or Dynamics AX.
• Demonstrated ability to design enterprise ERP architectures.
• Understanding of key business processes including Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement and Operations.
• Experience integrating ERP with other enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of data flows, system dependencies, and enterprise integration design.
• Experience in data migration planning and execution.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work outside normal hours where required.

Desirable:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Microsoft architecture certifications.
• Experience designing enterprise architecture frameworks in large organisations.
• Experience with Azure Integration Services, the Power Platform, or wider Microsoft technologies.
• Background integrating or migrating from legacy systems (e.g., Sage 500, Sage 200, Sage X3).
• Experience with PLM or engineering systems integration.
