Private client lawyers with contentious probate experience sought for a Huddersfield-based role.

One of Yorkshire's most high-profile firms has an excellent opportunity based out of its Huddersfield office for a lawyer with contentious probate experience. This is a critical business role which has arisen due to the arrival of a highly experienced partner and additional junior members of their team who have also joined the team.

This role is pitched to lawyers with contentious probate experience who have between 2 - 5 years' experience working in a successful private client team. Any candidates wishing to apply for the role must have experience consisting of handling disputes between executors or trustees, removal and replacement of an executor or trustee, bringing and defending claims by beneficiaries, challenging a Will or the terms of a Trust, Inheritance Act claims, Court of Protection and succession disputes and Power of Attorney disputes.

There will be an expectation for applicants with the necessary experience to provide additional support to junior members of the team and assist with their development, in addition to providing bespoke support to the partner within the team on more complex matters.

Salary is negotiable based on the level of experience candidates applying can bring to the role. Hybrid working is available, but candidates must live within commutable distance of Huddersfield and be prepared to travel to other offices located in West Yorkshire as and when required.

For further information about this role, please contact Samuel Higgins at Hays Legal.
