Catastrophic Loss Solicitor (NQ-3 PQE) sought after by global defendant firm

Your new company
Our client is a globally recognised defendant law firm with offices across the UK. They are currently recruiting for a Catastrophic Loss Solicitor with 0–3 years PQE to join their Liverpool office on a hybrid basis. The office is based in the city centre and is easily accessible via public transport and has nearby parking. This is a retrain role for those with previous defendant PI experience, although catastrophic loss experience is preferred.

Your new role
This Catastrophic Loss Solicitor role will see you handle your own reduced caseload of defendant catastrophic injuries, including EL/PL and RTA matters. Alongside your own caseload, you will assist senior associates and partners on higher-value catastrophic including multi-million-pound claims. The value of claims in the team start at £500,000 and can go up to tens of millions of pounds.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified solicitor. Chartered legal executives may also be considered. You must be 0-3 PQE. Experience assisting or handling your own caseload defendant catastrophic loss or multi-track personal injury is preferable. The firm is welcoming applicants for those with previous defendant PI experience. You must be able to commute to Liverpool twice a week. Successful applicants must have a real interest in catastrophic loss. Strong academics are beneficial.
