Your new role
You will be joining the long-standing Embedded Systems department, which is responsible for producing high-quality embedded software across a wide range of products. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will design, write, and test both high and low-level software routines for use in embedded systems. You will collaborate with the wider team to ensure the software meets technical specifications prior to release, maintain project timelines, and ensure that all software is written according to company coding standards. Additionally, you must assure all documentation provided is concise and accurate to avoid any errors.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, it is essential to have coding experience, specifically in embedded C, the use of real-time operating systems, and writing both high-level functions and low-level drivers. The role requires great organisational, communication and team-working skills, as well as having a keen eye for detail to ensure potential errors are identified early.
What you'll get in return
A competitive salary, ranging from £50,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Th is position is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
