Software Analyst - C

My client one of the world’s largest manufacturers of aerostructures for commercial airplanes, defence platforms, and business/regional jets is recruiting a Software Developer. Headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, this company has facilities in the U.S., U.K., France, Malaysia, and Morocco.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of any work package that has been assigned to the individual.
  • Analysis, development, testing and deployment of software.
  • Writing user and technical documentation.
  • Defect analysis and correction.
  • Support of applications using IT Service Desk procedures (Service Now).
  • Interaction with key business users to define requirements.
  • Participation in group projects.
  • Provision of on-call support when required, according to standard IT agreements.


Candidate Requirements:


  • Candidates must possess a minimum of 4 years’ experience in an I.T. business support role or Engineering function and have a minimum of a degree in an I.T. or Engineering related discipline or a discipline with significant I.T. content. Candidates with lesser qualifications who have an additional 2 years’ relevant experience will be considered.
  • Programming capabilities including .Net/C# and database programming in SQL.
  • Ability and willingness to develop programming capability for legacy applications (e. Rapidgen).
  • Strong self-motivation with good interpersonal, relationship building and analysis skills.


  • 2 + years’ experience in Manufacturing Business Processes (e.g. Shop Floor Execution, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Supply Chain).
  • Programming capabilities.
  • ASP.Net.
  • Windows Forms.
  • WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation).
  • Windows Services.
  • Java.
  • Javascript.
  • VMS/DCL.
