Your new role

We are currently seeking experienced Social Workers to join the Safeguarding Team. This is a varied and rewarding role involving Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and courtwork. You’ll be responsible for managing a caseload that reflects your experience and capacity, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes for children and families. This is a full-time role with hybrid working, and you’ll be expected in the office two days per week, with additional frontline duty 1–2 days every five weeks during your duty week.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you will need:
  • A recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
  • Recent experience in CIN, CP, and Court proceedings (we are open to candidates with experience in one or two of these areas)
  • A strong understanding of the Children Act and relevant safeguarding legislation
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a car
  • An Enhanced DBS
