Are you passionate about making a difference in health, social care, and education law? My client is seeking a talented and driven Healthcare Regulatory Solicitor to join their dynamic team in Leeds, advising a diverse range of clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
About the Role:
You will work on a broad spectrum of regulatory issues affecting health and social care providers, local authorities, and education institutions. The role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in high-profile and complex cases, providing strategic legal advice and representation.
Key Responsibilities:

- Advising on health, social care, and education law, including regulatory compliance and governance.
- Managing complex litigation in the
- Court of Protection, including cases involving mental capacity and best interests.
- Handling matters related to human rights, inquests, mental health law, safeguarding, and patient safety.
- Supporting clients through serious incident responses, complaints, and disputes.
- Advising on HSE/CQC inspections, enforcement actions, and regulatory challenges.
- Providing legal support on education law, including children’s law and challenges to decision-making in health and social care.
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with experience in healthcare regulatory law (ideally between 1-5 PQE).
- Strong understanding of public law, human rights, and safeguarding frameworks.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in advocacy and litigation is desirable.
