Site Supervisor Job (maintenance and refurbishment) projects in Sheffield, a long-term freelance role.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee a programme of maintenance works across Sheffield. You’ll be the on-site lead for day-to-day operations, coordinating trades, ensuring works are delivered safely, and signing off completed jobs to a high standard.
This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working with multiple trades, and takes real pride in delivering quality workmanship on every project.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site activities across multiple maintenance projects
- Coordinate and manage trades and subcontractors
- Carry out quality checks and sign off completed works
- Ensure all work meets health & safety standards
- Report progress, issues, and completions to the project team
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and operatives
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on maintenance or small‑works projects,
- Experience in fire-stopping works would be beneficial.
- Strong understanding of building trades and quality standards
- Confident managing multiple jobs and teams
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of H&S regulations
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
