Your new company
You’ll be joining a reputable civils contractor with a strong presence in infrastructure and groundworks projects across the region. Known for delivering high-quality work on time and to specification, the company prides itself on safety, teamwork, and developing skilled professionals within the construction industry.
Your new role
As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to the early stages of construction. Your duties will include drainage installation, concreting, kerbing, flagging, ducting, and general site preparation. You’ll work closely with site supervisors and plant operators to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on role that requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of site safety protocols.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need proven experience in groundwork within a civils or construction environment. A valid
CSCS card is essential, and additional qualifications such as NPORS/CPCS for plant, or confined spaces and street works tickets, will be highly advantageous. You’ll need to be reliable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll get in return
In return, you’ll receive a competitive rate of £18 per hour, long-term work on high-profile projects, and the opportunity to grow your skills within a respected civils company. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values safety, quality, and professional development.
