Civil Site Supervisor supporting day-to-day operations on a busy Civil Engineering contract.

Your new role
Civil Site SupervisorSalary: £60,000 - £65,000
Location: Glasgow
Hours: 40 Hours, Monday to Friday
We're looking for a Civil Construction Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient delivery of civil works on our client's projects, ensuring high standards, compliance and quality across site activities.
- Supervise day‑to‑day civil construction activities on site, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to specification.
- Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver projects efficiently and collaboratively.
- Ensure all works comply with health & safety legislation, company procedures and method statements
- Monitor progress against the programme, resolving issues and escalating risks where required.
- Carry out site inspections, briefings and toolbox talks, maintaining accurate site records and reports
What you'll need to succeed
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
- CSCS card (Supervisor level or above)
- Proven experience supervising civil construction works (highways, utilities, or infrastructure preferred)
- Strong understanding of health & safety requirements within a construction environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams on site
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, RAMS and project documentation
- A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with strong organisational skills
