**Foreperson Required for Upcoming Belfast Refurbishment Schemes - Early August**


Your new company

Your new company is an established construction, mechanical and electrical contractor based in Co. Antrim. With over 40 years’ experience throughout the NI construction industry, this firm has established client relationships throughout Northern Ireland and has developed a rounded portfolio of works. Areas of expertise include private residential schemes, social housing, education, commercial and community schemes, including both new build and refurbishment. Boasting an experienced team and an excellent reputation for delivering quality projects, this firm is now seeking the services of an experienced Foreperson for upcoming refurbishment schemes in North Belfast.


Your new role

Due to new opportunities within the business and a busy orderbook this year, the company welcomes you as Foreperson, responsible for the supervision and successful delivery of social housing refurbishment schemes in Belfast with a programme of works due to last for several months. There will be opportunity for permanent employment after successful completion of the initial contract for the right candidate. Your role will involve the supervision and organisation of the site team to ensure the smooth running of the project to the quality required by the client and to the highest standards of health and safety. You will be responsible for the completion of assigned tasks, co-ordinating all available resources effectively and safely, ensuring the workload is completed within schedule. Managing the client relationship is extremely important to the role, ensuring strong communication is maintained at all times.


What you'll need to succeed

As a successful Foreperson, you will have previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably coming from a trades background. Knowledge of refurbishment works within the social housing sector is desirable. You must be CSR (Site Supervisor), CSCS or SMSTS certified. As projects following on from the initial contract may be in various locations, a full, clean driving licence is essential with flexibility to travel to sites across Northern Ireland.
