SITE MANAGER NEEDED IN TRING (Hertfordshire) FOR RESERVOIR PROJECT - INSIDE IR35 UP £450 PER DAY.

Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Tring Reservoir (Canal and River Trust)
Project Duration: 12+ months
Start Date: January
Rate: £400-£500 per day (inside IR35)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to oversee a significant project at Tring Reservoir. This role is with the Canal and River Trust and is expected to last for over 12 months. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in deep drainage, reservoirs, and silent piling/Giken.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all site operations at Tring Reservoir.
  • Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and the Canal and River Trust.
  • Implement and monitor health and safety protocols on site.
  • Regularly travel to the site to supervise and inspect work progress.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing similar projects, particularly in deep drainage and reservoirs.
  • Expertise in silent piling/Giken techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and NEC4 (New Engineering Contract) frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to travel to the site regularly.
  • Role is inside IR35, so candidates must be compliant with relevant regulations.
