Senior Site Engineer – Permanent – Warwickshire – Major Infrastructure Projects – Civil Engineering

Your new company

You will be joining a privately-owned and multi-accredited civil engineering contractor based in Birmingham specialising in the delivery of major infrastructure projects across the Midlands region. This multi-sector and established contractor has a strong orderbook and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the industry, and due to continued success, they are actively seeking a Senior Site Engineer to join their delivery team.

This is a full-time permanent position based initially in the Warwickshire area.

Your new role

As Senior Site Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Undertaking day-to-day setting out duties
  • Completing risk assessments and method statements
  • Monitoring and controlling temporary works
  • Producing ITP records/plans and ensuring they are up-to-date in line with project progress
  • Managing site service drawings/plans
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and clients
  • Ensuring all work complies with environmental, quality and safety policies, and is constructed to project specification.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you must have:
  • Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related field (or experience equivalent)
  • Experience as a Site Engineer on Civil Engineering projects, specifically drainage, groundworks and reinforced concrete structures
  • Proficiency in setting out using GPS, total stations and laser levels
  • Understanding of Civil Engineering drawings and specifications
  • CSCS and full UK driving licence.
