I am currently recruiting for a permanent Data Engineer to support my public sector client on a 2-year fixed term basis to support ongoing system integration. This vacancy is based in Taunton and requires 2 days per month travel to site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of my customers' Data Platform within a Microsoft Fabric environment including architecture, integration, testing and modelling of data.

I am looking for a Data Engineer with experience in the following areas;
-Data Platform Development Plan and Delivery
-Maintaining the Architecture of a Data Platform
-Python
-DevOps Tools
-Build and maintain ETLs in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory or DataBricks
-Work closely with Senior Data Analysts to understand requirements
-Design, build and maintain a Data Quality Framework
