SHEQ Advisor Opportunity - South Down Based Civil Engineering Contractor

Your new company

Your new company is a specialist Civil Engineering contractor based in South Down, operating primarily in the geotechnics, foundation-engineering and piling sectors with a continuously expanding portfolio of works on major projects. Due to recent requirements, the company are now seeking a HSEQ Advisor to join the team.

Your new role

As a HSEQ Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing health & safety on a range of small-medium sized ground-engineering and piling schemes across Northern Ireland & Ireland with main contractors. You will create and complete risk assessments & procedures alongside conducting site audits and inspections. You will lead and deliver health & safety initiative with the support of a strong senior management team including training, inductions and toolbox talks. Your time will be split between head office in South Down with some travel to sites required.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a previous track record working in a similar role within a construction environment. You’ll demonstrate a working knowledge of SHEQ standards & audit procedures with a sound understanding of implementing integrated ISOs (14001, 45001 & 9001) throughout a live project. In order to be successful, you will be professionally qualified to NEBOSH level.
