Mechanical Facilities Supervisor wanted
Your new role
Deliver an integrated, flexible, and high-quality facilities management service putting staff and participant safety as priority at all times. Ensure the highest standards of facilities management best practice, statutory compliance, security housekeeping and general health and safety are always maintained. Act as the primary staff member for FM issues and provide cover for the Facilities Manager when absent.
Key duties include:
- Ensuring the Facility is well maintained and a high standard of service delivery is received from the in-house maintenance team and specialist external contractors
- Responsible for organising reactive maintenance and repair of HVAC, autoclaves and any specialist systems
- Responsible for maintenance and repair of en-suite bathrooms, sinks and plumbed facilities
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance, inspections and testing of all facilities, plant, equipment and systems
- Assist the Facilities Manager with various administrative tasks including updating spreadsheets, maintaining space management information on the CAFM system, analysing helpdesk requests etc.
- Overall responsibility for the Health and Safety of the day-to-day running of the facility
What you'll need to succeed
- HNC/HND in mechanical
- Experience as first fix for plumming general maintenance- NEBOSH
- L8
- COSHH
- Trained First Aider
