Service Desk Analyst

You will be working for a large, well-known organisation within the public sector.
Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for incident triage and resolution, providing an escalation point for first-line support, and supporting EUC and 2nd line teams. You will also be required to conduct skills transfer and coaching with colleagues and analyse and improve the operation.

What you'll need to succeed
Excellent written and verbal communication with exemplary customer-facing skills
Previous experience of working within the Service Desk, Incident, and Request Fulfilment process disciplines, and good understanding of priority classifications and SLAs is essential
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft O/S and applications, including but not limited to Windows Server 2012, Exchange 2013, SQL 2008, Windows 10, Office365 plus general networking technologies
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
What you'll get in return
A contract role lasting for an initial period of six months with the potential for extension. The role is paying £150 - £180 per day and is outside IR35.
