Senior Technical Business Analyst – Integration & Data Solutions - Contract opportunity
We are working with a leading financial services organisation seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join a major transformation programme. This role will sit within a technology workstream, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring complex integrations and data solutions are successfully designed and implemented.
Hybrid working: 3 days a week in office
Duration: initial 6 months
Rate: £750 - £850pd inside ir35 via umbrella
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business SMEs and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
- Own the technology workstream requirements from definition through to delivery.
- Define and document technical requirements covering APIs, interfaces, data flows, mappings and event-driven architectures.
- Work closely with engineering teams to design and deliver integration solutions across multiple systems.
- Ensure solutions are production-ready, supporting operational teams, application support and ongoing BAU services.
- Manage end-to-end interface and data integration requirements, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- Support solution design reviews and ensure alignment with target architecture and operational standards.
Required Experience
- Strong Technical Business Analysis experience within complex technology transformation programmes.
- Proven background delivering integration-focused projects involving APIs, interfaces and data mapping.
- Experience documenting technical requirements and working closely with development teams.
- Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows and end-to-end solution delivery.
- Ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Kafka
- Exposure to Exchange, Clearing or Post-Trade environments within Financial Services.
- Knowledge of production support models and operational readiness processes.
