Amazing opportunity for a technical lead within a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy
Are you an experienced structural engineer looking to take the next step in your career? Join a dynamic, growing team at the forefront of sustainable design in Sheffield!
You’ll work collaboratively to create structural designs, analyse building structures, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion. You’ll deliver innovative designs, specifications, and reports, using 3D software, and ensure that health, safety, and sustainability are prioritised. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to support and mentor junior team members while developing your leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analysis of varied building structures, ranging from industrial sheds for food and beverage companies, distribution centres, supermarket frameworks and retail stores, where you won't be stuck on the same endless beam design!
- Creation of designs, drawings, specifications, and reports
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Support junior team members and contribute to leadership development
- Engagement in health, safety, and sustainability considerations
- Opportunity to grow through a mentoring program
Key Qualifications:
- Relevant civil or structural engineering degree
- Chartered status or working towards Chartership
- Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and British Standards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
