You will be joining a SME based in Preston working on a range of exciting schemes valued up to £20m, predominantly based in the North West region. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Site Engineer to join their team.

As Site Engineer you will be responsible for, but not limited to, offering technical advice for subcontractors and operatives, managing and interpreting contract design documents, ensuring plans and drawings are accurate, overseeing the selection and requisition of materials as well as setting out, levelling and surveying sites. You will be expected to commute and lodge at sites further afield.

In order to be successful, you will hold a degree/HND/HNC in Civil Engineering (or experience equivalent) and ideally have at least 5 years’ experience in setting out. In addition, you will hold a CSCS card, full UK driving licence and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Finally, you will have excellent attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively with a range of other professionals including clients, construction managers and other engineers.
