A leading construction and refurbishment contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex restoration, conservation, retrofit and refurbishment projects across the UK. Due to continued project success, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager / Senior Site Manager to lead a prestigious retrofit project in Cardiff.
Your New Role
As Site Manager / Senior Site Manager, you will take responsibility for leading on-site operations on a major retrofit and refurbishment scheme in Cardiff, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day site operations, including subcontractors and direct site teams.
- Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, environmental and company standards.
- Coordinating project activities to ensure programme milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Maintaining high-quality expertise throughout all phases of the project.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, stakeholders and the wider project team.
- Monitoring progress, resolving site issues and providing regular updates to senior management.
- Managing works within a live-occupied environment, minimising disruption whilst maintaining project delivery.

- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager on refurbishment, retrofit, education or commercial construction projects.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deliver projects to programme and budget.
