Site Manager / Senior Site Manager Cardiff

Your New Company
A leading construction and refurbishment contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex restoration, conservation, retrofit and refurbishment projects across the UK. Due to continued project success, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager / Senior Site Manager to lead a prestigious retrofit project in Cardiff.

Your New Role
As Site Manager / Senior Site Manager, you will take responsibility for leading on-site operations on a major retrofit and refurbishment scheme in Cardiff, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing day-to-day site operations, including subcontractors and direct site teams.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, environmental and company standards.
  • Coordinating project activities to ensure programme milestones and deadlines are achieved.
  • Maintaining high-quality expertise throughout all phases of the project.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, stakeholders and the wider project team.
  • Monitoring progress, resolving site issues and providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Managing works within a live-occupied environment, minimising disruption whilst maintaining project delivery.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • First Aid at Work
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager on refurbishment, retrofit, education or commercial construction projects.
  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deliver projects to programme and budget.
