Construction Finishing Manager job

Your new company

A huge tier 1 construction contractor currently working on a major project on the outskirts of York is looking for a Finishing Foreman to see the site through to completion, working with the Senior Site Manager and Project Manager.

Your new role

Your new role as a Finishing Foreman on this project will be to oversee the quality of different subcontractors and ensure they are working to the program given.

• Compiling snagging works
• Toolbox talks
• Coordinating a team of trades/managing subcontractors
• Liaising with stakeholders
• Quality checking

What you'll need to succeed

You will need a solid background as site Manager / finishing foreman. You will have good man management skills, be approachable and adaptable and be able to find solutions quickly and effectively. You will have a valid-in-date SMSTS, CSCS and first aid certificate.

You must hold a valid passport or Full Birth Certificate & Photo Driving Licence at your current address.
You must have proof of National Insurance AND proof of address dated in the past 3 months.

You must be able to pass a basic DBS (if required)
(Hays is responsible for organising all security clearances and DBS)

What you'll get in return

The role comes with a competitive daily rate which will be paid weekly for 6 months minimum.
