Currently seeking to hire a Site Manager to join their Civil Engineering team on a permanent basis, this contractor has a new project due to commence shortly involving civil engineering and utilities works.

Your new role
Due to the requirements of the role, you will need to be an organised individual who has previous management experience on civils schemes, including of groundwork and, ideally, some construction.

Due to the requirements of the role, you will need to be an organised individual who has previous management experience on civils schemes, including of groundwork and, ideally, some construction.
This role will be suited to someone with an Engineering background, at Site, Senior Engineer or Site Agent level however those with different backgrounds and experience in Electrical Sub Stations will still be considered.
Your new project will be the construction of an Electrical Sub Station, compromising of groundwork’s, utilities and cabling based in Coleraine.
This role will see the Site Manager work alongside the team in overseeing the site workings from Site Management, Programming work, as well as overseeing subcontractors and client demands. You will have excellent communication skills and will have a proven track record of maintaining positive working relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be required to have previous experience in a similar role and, ideally, have a degree in Civil or Construction Management with strong construction / civils management experience however, applicants with a different educational path should not be deterred from applying.
You will require experience of working directly on civil engineering schemes, ideally with exposure to the renewables of sub-station sector.
Your new employer will be looking favourably on individuals who have worked on Civils Packages and have experience of groundwork’s and utilities projects.
