Senior Quantity Surveyor - Permanent - Main Contractor - Water Projects - Civil Engineering

You will be joining a high-profile and established main contractor with a proven track record in delivering complex and high-value projects within the water industry. With a reputation for quality, innovation and safety, they work on projects across the Midlands region and offer a strong pipeline of work as well as excellent opportunities for career progression. Due to continued success and significant growth, they are now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Your new role
- Ensuring robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting
- Ensuring accurate cash flow reporting takes place
- Carrying out cost management, including forecasting
- Updating the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans
- Ensuring effective communication between the commercial and operational site teams
- Maintaining positive working relationships with clients.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in the civil engineering industry (ideally in the water sector)
- Working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 forms of contract
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
