The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the cost management process for their residential projects, ensuring financial efficiency and project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and valuations.
- Conduct cost analysis and procurement strategies.
- Oversee contract administration and manage subcontractor relationships.
- Monitor project progress and provide accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to achieve project goals.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to project budgets and timelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the residential construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Office, cost management software
