Your new role

Working on a major project, they now require a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. You will take the lead on projects or clusters of packages, with full accountability for pre- and post-contract strategies, commercial functions, and contract reporting.
You’ll work collaboratively with clients and industry specialists, focusing on value creation, compliance, commercial viability, and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the commercial team to ensure all main contract obligations are fulfilled, including procurement, subcontractor management, valuations, and change control.

• Produce and submit monthly cost reports, procurement strategy updates, and progress reports.

• Develop and implement tender and delivery strategies.

• Manage valuations to maintain positive project cash flow and agree final accounts with clients and subcontractors.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience working at Senior Quantity Surveyor level on major commercial projects is essential.
