A Project Manager is required, an award-winning Belfast based specialist Façade Contractor.

With a considerable head count across multiple countries, this employer is one of the leading UK-based designers, manufacturers, and installers of architectural glazing systems. Providing various external façade services to many of the market-leading European and UK-based contractors working in the construction sector. This contractor has a team of designers, surveyors, project managers & fitters with extensive construction sector experience.

You will join the company as Project Manager, taking responsibility for the delivery and installation of façade packages across the UK.

Your new role

This company has 7-8 live projects ranging in value from £500k to £4million at any one time, and as Project Manager you will typically take responsibility of managing 2 sites at any one time, broken down as one large scheme and simultaneously managing another smaller project.

You will be tasked with overseeing the on-site management team and ensuring they are delivering the package on time and to a high-quality standard. You will help with appointing contractors and improving efficiencies on each project, while working with design and procurement teams to update and help with the smooth running of the site. Reporting to the Technical Director, you will coordinate and work alongside programme and design teams, while working closely with main contractors and clients to ensure accurate delivery of work being carried out.

With sites across the UK, you will be required to travel weekly, Monday to Friday, although all accommodation, flights, and a living away allowance will be provided.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you must have relevant previous experience of working in a similar construction Project Manager role, preferably with facades or main contractor experience. You will be a self-starter, with a can-do attitude and a good level of organisation. You will possess a high level of communication and be responsible for ensuring the scheme is delivered on time and on budget. You will be able to motivate each management team on site and report updates and improvements to senior management and clients. You will also sit in on meetings with clients and stakeholders to give accurate projections on any issues.

You will also be required to travel from Monday to Friday for the role.
