Project manager Contract Glasgow

A large multinational technology company known the world over for creating world-class hardware and software solutions. With a base in Glasgow and a vibrant project team, you will be joining a well-established team committed to driving success.

Your new role

  • Help to modernise and change a global multinationals .com website.
  • Work alongside two System Integrators and internal teams to develop and deliver this complex change.
  • Build and lead transformational projects for the Marketing & Sales Digital Transformation organisation.
  • Own and drive all aspects of project management activity, managing key strategic projects across multiple teams.
  • Work within the framework of standard Project Management methodology processes, tools, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead the project team, drive the key initiatives and actions to resolve roadblocks and deliver the committed project results.
  • Drive substantial business improvement and enhance partner and customer experience through solid project planning, complex problem-solving and innovative thinking.
  • Provide clear and transparent communication to key stakeholders at all stages of the project

What you'll need to succeed

  • Five plus years of experience in project management in large, multinational.
  • Strong ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable transformation or strategic change skills with high solution orientation.
  • Excellent cross-group collaboration skills and proven ability to lead a virtual team located in multiple countries. Experience in an international working environment is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences, including the senior leadership team.
  • Conflict resolution capability and the ability to respond in a politically astute manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work hybrid in the Glasgow office.

What you'll get in return

This is a 2-year transformation project with an upfront 12-month contract length. The role falls inside IR35, but an attractive day rate is on offer. You will have the opportunity to shape and drive the change of a major multinational's website. The role offers hybrid and flexible working options.
